ASTRONOMY

My interest in Astronomy goes back to childhood. A challenge was to photograph gravitationally lensed images using a relatively small telescope.

My first (poor) attempt at astrophotography: Globular cluster 47 Tucanae photographed with a 10 inch Meade LX200GPS telescope and Meade Pictor 416XTE CCD imager.

Omega Centauri

A much better shot of globular cluster Omega Centauri taken with an SBIG ST10XME imager and CFW8A color wheel on a Meade 10 inch LX200GPS with focal reducer.
